Our Partners

MOWS has formed several strong partnerships with local organizations and business who  assist us in our biosecurity and ecological restoration works. Our partners include: 

Coastcare work alongside us to plant native dune plants and restore dune habitat along our beaches.

WBOPDC are a partner on several Environmental Programmes and our supporter.

BOPRC are a long-term partner on all of our Environmental Programs and supporter of our  mahi.

DOC are our co-partner for the Environmental Programme at Waihi Wetland and assist us in securing Wildlife Act Authorities for various components of our work.

Assists with any earth-moving requirements.

Simax Ecology assists and directs our ecological monitoring projects.

Te Arawa Lakes Trust work alongside us to help with a variety of tasks including control of several pest plants such as pines and spartina.

Gotch Traps provides our tracking tunnels made out of recyclable material that do not break down into microplastics.

Kiwi Land Developments Ltd

Kiwi Land Developments provide diggers and powered wheel barrows when we have big jobs to do.

Maketū Taiapure Trust

Maketū Taiapure Trust are our co-partner for the Environmental Programme at Te Huauri o Te Kawa.
